A photo diary, written almost two years after the event. The photos where taken by pretty much everbody, using Daves digital camera.
Alec, Alex, Ben, Dave, Eva, Mark, Martin, Matt, Mia, Nat, Paul, Ros, Sarah, Scott, and me.
You may be wondering why some of the photos are missing. Well the answer is a simple one, those tricky sods managed to avoid beeing alone on camera for the whole weekend. But don't worry, well get them back later on.
Your kidding right? That was two years ago. I can't remember what bands we saw. Ha-ha ha. Reading isn't about the music anyway...
Thats what reading is all about!
Most of us got there by
cramming into the back of a transit van, which Martin drove. It was hot, dark, cramped and uncomfortable. And it was even worse on the way back.
Mostly we sat around
smoking, and
drinking, and generally having a
good time.
Eva and I had just come back from Tunisia, and we'd brought back some local spirit, which was very strong, and most people wouldn't touch the stuff. Of course,
Mark isn't most people. This stuff was stronger than vodka, and he drank it mixed with beer. Out of a drum, which (as you can see) he then made into a hat.
I'm having trouble fitting it into the 'story', but at night we had a cool camp fire. As it happens most of the fun stuff happens at night, but its really hard to get decent photos in those conditions. And I'm not just talking about the light. ;)
